01 ABOUT
Studio Erk is an architecture and interior design studio founded by Kağan Erk and Hüray Erk, both graduates of the ITU Faculty of Architecture. Regardless of project scale, the studio stands out for its holistic approach to architecture and interior design, its collaborative way of working, and its solution-oriented process.
Kağan Erk worked as a senior architect at Metex Design Group from 1997 until 2016, while Hüray Erk held the same role from 2003 until 2016. During this period, they were involved in many large-scale projects together with Sinan Kafadar. Between 2016 and 2025, numerous projects were realized within this three-partner structure. In 2025, Kağan Erk and Hüray Erk brought Studio Erk to life as an independent architectural practice.
With over 30 years of accumulated experience, Studio Erk offers continuous collaboration with the same trusted team across all phases of a project. Its portfolio includes nationally and internationally recognized projects of varying scales and programs, including hospitality, residential, office, and educational buildings, and projects that have received various awards across international platforms.
02 APPROACH
Studio Erk’s design approach is based on careful analysis and a comprehensive perspective. Each project is shaped through detailed evaluations and custom solutions, ensuring the design identity is reflected from site layout to the smallest interior detail.
The studio avoids passing trends, instead embracing timeless, context-driven design. It creates spaces that are functional, enduring, and aligned with future needs—guided by discipline, clarity and a strong conceptual foundation.
03 TEAM
Studio Erk was founded by architects Hüray Erk and Kağan Erk, who continue to lead the studio with a shared vision. Their leadership shapes a diverse and experienced team of architects and interior designers who bring value through collaboration.
Design at Studio Erk is a collective process. The studio believes strong outcomes come from shared ideas, open communication and interdisciplinary thinking. This team-driven structure supports creative, consistent and integrated design across all scales.
